    Most diamond tools are one-and-done. A thin electroplated layer of grit wears through, the cutting action stops, and the tool goes in the bin.

    Vacuum-sintered diamond tooling operates on a different principle entirely. The cutting head is a solid matrix of diamond abrasive particles suspended in a metal bond — not a surface coating. As the outermost diamond grains eventually fracture and release, the bond matrix erodes at a controlled rate, exposing fresh, sharp diamond particles underneath. This cycle repeats throughout the tool's entire working volume. The tool doesn't dull — it renews.

    creating a near-theoretical-density structure. Every diamond particle is fully surrounded by metal bond. None are weakly held. None fall out before they've done their share of cutting.
